Mission Statement:

To empower physically or developmental challenged individuals by providing the opportunity to enjoy the sport of ice hockey.

Program benefits include improved endurance, coordination, strength, social skills, teamwork, and the pure enjoyment and freedom provided by skating on ice.

 

Teams:

The Austin Blades are a Ice Hockey team for adults. We are always looking for individuals that would like to join us on the ice.The Austin Blades Jr’s is a kids team that includes kids from 5 years old to 15 years old.¬†

Members of the Austin Blades competed at the USA National Ice Hockey Tournament for the disabled community.

Austin Blade Members helped win the following awards:

2015 USA Disabled Festival Division C Gold Medal

2014 USA Disabled Festival Division C Silver Medal

2012 USA Disabled Festival Division C Bronze Medal

 

 

 

Foster

Austin Blades JR’s member “Foster” Grant Blair participated at the 2015 USA Disabled Festival on the Northwest Wildcats Team. He was the ¬†leading scorer for this team.
